The Foolish April Fish Campaign is an initiative created and promoted by the Fraser River Ripple Effect Relay and Fundraiser.   The campaign in its initial years will be run under the FRRE organization as a Committee of Special Standing and be considered a separate entity from the Fraser River Ripple Effect.

The Foolish April Fish Campaign will form partnerships with other groups with a Council of Representatives formed with those individuals taking an active leadership role,   Partnerships will detail how the individuals within the group will ‘Act for Salmon Solutions’ as members of the Foolish April Fish Campaign. Each individual will become Foolish April FIsh Member of Action and can become a Foolish April Fish Voting Member.

Anyone arriving at a Foolish April Fish AGM wearing a fish button or paper fish will be considered a Foolish April Fish Voting Member. Each Voting Member will be given a voting stone on arrival by members of the Council of Representatives. Additional voting stones will be given to Foolish April FIsh Member of Action according to funds raised, volunteer hours given, level of activity within the campaign and other contributions made to the campaign.

Funds raised for the Foolish April Fish Campaign by individuals in groups partnering with the Foolish April Fish Campaign will be split between the group and the Foolish April Fish Campaign according to the partnership details.  Funds directed towards the Foolish April Fish Campaign will be collected in the Foolish April Fish Fund. The campaign year's Foolish April Fish Fund will be dispersed by stone voting by PD'AC Voting Members at the Foolish April Fish AGM.

The Foolish April Fish AGM will be guided by a “SalmonSolutions”  taskforce composed of scientists, first nations, NGO representatives, etc. Funds will be awarded to those who are acting and those who are learning to act for the pacific salmon, for bringing back a balance to the circle that brings the fish to the people. The goal of the task force is to keep the direction of funds best suited to the current problems and directed to the wisest solutions.
