I recently walked from the south side of the Cambie Street Bridge, along Pacific and Howe to the Waterfront SkyTrain station. I wanted to take pictures of all the fish I could see.  I saw only two windows with fish displayed - a travel agency with tropical fish and bookstore with the' life of pi' poster displayed.  It amazed me.  We just hosted the world here in Vancouver and I did not see a single sockeye image.  The loss of the Sockeye return last year is catastrophic, It's huge proportions gone. For our local lands and people, this is our disaster.  This is our hurricane, our earth quake and yet there were no images anywhere.  Where's The Fish? There were pictures of humans and bears and eagles and trees and everything that is nourished by the fish, but no fish.  Why are we not thinking about the Fish. We need to get the image of fish out there.
